Featuring multiple leagues, world rankings, and an AI-powered decision framework called S.A.D.I., this project reimagines what competitive gaming can be. We built RPS Online to explore whether a game often dismissed as "pure luck" could sustain genuine competitive depth. The answer: absolutely. Through careful game design, psychological modeling, and strategic frameworks, we've created a platform where skill, pattern recognition, and mental fortitude determine outcomes over time.
At the heart of RPS Online is S.A.D.I. — Situational Adaptive Dynamic Intelligence. This proprietary decision framework analyses game state, tracks psychological momentum, detects patterns, and generates strategic recommendations in real-time. S.A.D.I. doesn't play for you; it enhances your decision-making by surfacing context you might otherwise miss.
RPS Online was designed with competitive integrity as the foundation. We built a tiered league system inspired by football (promotion/relegation), a ladder system for daily challenges, and knockout tournaments for high-stakes drama. The aesthetic draws from Japanese gaming culture, featuring bilingual elements and a clean, functional interface that prioritises clarity during fast-paced matches. Every screen is optimised for quick decisions and instant feedback.
RPS Online is a fully custom full-stack application hosted on Vercel with a PostgreSQL database managed via Neon. The platform handles real-time match processing, complex league scheduling, and dynamic content generation for thousands of player profiles.
